Premarital Courses

Want to increase your chances of staying happily married? Do you have areas you don’t agree on or find hard to discuss?

My premarital courses consist of a series of enlightening discussions based upon questions which cover topics that are of concern to you as you marry (children, religion, family, conflict resolution, finances, sex, etc.).

They provide you and your fiancé(e) the opportunity to explore all areas of marriage and discuss your feelings and beliefs in a neutral, safe environment.  This will provide a strong foundation for your marriage and help minimize the surprises or areas of serious disagreement you might encounter after you get married.

We make assumptions about how things will be after we get married based on how we were raised.  It sometimes comes as a surprise when we discover our spouse does not share the same ideas and expectations.

Spending time during the engagement preparing for your marriage, as well as for the wedding, is very important.  Currently, half of all marriages end in divorce.  Marriage is not the “Happily Ever After” fairy tale that just happens – building a strong foundation,  exploring and discussing what we want and expect from marriage and from our partner help build realistic expectations.

And if you don’t have time before you get married, these courses become even more meaningful after you have been married for a few months!

Engage in  conversations with your beloved with one of the packages below.

  •  “We had such a good time with you last Saturday. We both walked out feeling so great about our relationship. Thank you for guiding such in depth conversation. What both of us have loved about this whole process is how dynamic each session has been and how much you have to offer as our officiant. We really couldn’t have asked for a better person to go through pre-marital counseling with us and get us to open up about some deep topics. Thank you so much for your time and dedication.” – Josh and Rachel
