Rev. Janice Carter

Wedding Celebrant and Officiant in the Seattle area

“How do I find all the blogs that Rev. Jan Carter has written?”  I have been asked this question by several people since only my most recent posts show up on the screen.  To resolve that problem, I have listed all the blogs I have written, grouped into three different themes.  To read a blog, all you need to do is click on the title you are interested in reviewing.

1 – News Articles and Articles of Interest

These blogs consist of information that is useful to engaged and newly-married couples.  This section also includes articles on radio programs that Rev. Jan Carter has been interviewed on and awards she has received.

2 – Weddings by Rev. Jan Carter in the Puget Sound Area (King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties) and Destination Locations

Each blog in this section is a write-up with photos of some of the wedding ceremonies I have officiated.  One trend I have noticed in 2013 and 2014 is that fewer couples want information about their wedding on the Internet and in Social Media.  The weddings in this section are weddings that have taken place in various places throughout the Puget Sound area.

3 – SimpliDone Weddings and Anniversary Celebrations by Rev. Jan Carter and Photographer, Barbara Roser

A trend we are seeing more of is the elopement-style wedding or the all-inclusive wedding.  These weddings are for couples who want a beautiful, stress-free wedding where everything is included for one low fee.  Rev. Jan Carter and photographic artist, Barbara Roser, have teamed up to offer a SimpliDone wedding for couples who want a beautiful wedding in a private garden, filled with high-quality photos, and a friendly, welcoming environment for ALL couples.  We offer four different wedding packages so that the couple can select the type of ceremony they would like and the number of guests they can invited.   This is for a truly intimate wedding where the couple invite anywhere from no guests (we will supply the witnesses) to celebrations where up to 24 guests can be accommodated.
