Will and Ron were wed in a Christmas Eve ceremony in their living room which was elaborately decorated for Christmas and the wedding. In attendance were their two long-time friends from Seattle, their niece and nephew from Colorado, and the cat, which was dressed in her own wedding gown! LOL

Everyone was dressed in blue, but the ceremony was anything but blue!  This was a very joyous occasion, the culmination of a long road to get here.  Just before the passage of R74 for same-sex marriage in Washington State, Will and Ron moved from Colorado to Seattle, where they have found greater acceptance for gay couples. With each other, they have found love, acceptance, and a new life in their new home in Washington.

They were very involved in creating the ceremony with Rev. Jan that would truly reflect their journey and the love and commitment they have for one another.  The wedding was very heartfelt and emotional as they were finally able to marry each other after a seven year relationship.  There were tears of happiness and joy, especially as we listened to the eight songs that were selected to be part of the ceremony.
